Some photos of my bookshelf raptor pack's neighbors.
I painted the two smaller ones a bit. The bigger JW Dilo (first from the left) just got her claws painted. I actually really like the mini's colours, but thought they could use a bit more camoflage, since being this small compared to the other figures they're obviously still a nestling (regardless of whether the figure is originally intended to be, which I'm pretty sure it's not).
Here's the minifigure before repainting:
And here's after:
I changed the crests to shades of green and beige, and added spots in the same colours on the back. The bright frill I left alone, as it wouldn't be visible most of the time. I also painted their nostrils, claws, and the inside of their mouth. The teeth turned out a bit whiter than I expected despite the yellow I mixed in, but they're a baby, and haven't had as much opportunity to develop staining on their teeth, so that's fine. I left the eyes a solid black, because some animals have that as babies even if they don't as adults, but I made them a bit bigger and more evenly shaped, with bonus white shine dots.
A tiny figure is difficult to photograph, but I think they turned out really cute.
Are the two biggest figures adults - the other two's parents, perhaps? Who knows, lol. Though they are about the size of the Mattel JW raptor figures, so despite one of them being based on the JP1 Dilo, they're bigger than her.
