Is "we're safe now" a safe thing to say after all of this still happened soon after saying "the worst part's over"? Well, sometimes you have to say what's comforting to hear and hope saying it makes it true.

These characters are very dear to my heart, and for what I've put them through the least they deserve is hugs and handholdings. Maybe I'll draw something happy about (this AU's version of) them sometime later after I eventually finish this comic, to make up for it.

(Warning for still a bit of blood on this page.)

I did indeed write the dinosaur screams and the human screams using exactly the same kind of letters for both on purpose. Obviously they don't both sound the same, but they can kind of sound like they would have the same translation if you're only fluent in one of the languages. And, I suppose to some extent they do.

I think the JP/W raptors' sounds hold up pretty well, especially with the added recognizably birdy chirps and quacks from JP3, which I wish JW had kept more of. Rexes may not have roared, especially just for the sake of a trailer shot, but a social species of raptor using various screams, clicks, trills, and hisses to communicate and not being very noisy otherwise is pretty believable, and birds do make all kinds of weird sounds one might not at first hearing associate with birds at all (albatrosses and barn owls for example have been pretty surprising to me while watching them on nest cams - the sound the former greet each other with kind of sounds like a series of oinks followed by a strangely mechanical-sounding version of blowing a raspberry and finished with a cross between a moo and a meow, and of the sound the latter make when alarmed, the most accurate description I've run into would have to be "possessed chalkboard noises").

Well, we're back... in the car again.

Also suddenly a very colourful panel painted strangely. I hope the image style is recognizable for what it is. Literally seeing like that is probably not quite how that would actually work, but this should get the idea across. I tried just having the red to go with the rest of the comic's spot colour choice (though Indo's eyes already have a bit of yellow on the page where we see him), but it didn't look right.

No blood on this page for a change.

That warning for visible blood that I gave at the beginning of the comic is now in effect.

This is another of the pages that I thumbnailed really early on, though the details kept changing, mostly because I kept changing the order of the scenes as the story developed.

I... don't actually have much to say about this page, I'll let it speak for itself.

Collision, page 5 and additional content warnings

tl;dr: for just the content warnings for the comic (at my site, at deviantart):

I guess we'll see whether by the end of this stop Ev's mom, idk, probably wanting everyone to read her Supernatural fanfic will still be the worst part of the day. Also, a spot colour. I'm sure it being red will be implemented in exclusively wholesome ways.

Collision, page 4

Comic can be found here: at my site (all pages in one), deviantart (latest page).
A closer look at Sam, whom I decided to draw in a more realistic style, on account of that he's not anthropomorphized and the humans are the POV characters.
Cars may not be my drawing comfort zone, but I really enjoy the atmosphere created by the lighting in a car at night. Dogs aren't either, but I think I did okay.

Collision, pages 1&2

Starting a new multi-page comic! It takes place in the Jurassic Park/World universe, and after the events of Fallen Kingdom.

I haven't drawn a lot of humans in works involving this fandom, but here's some humans as POV characters for a change. The characters are borrowed from a few of my original projects, and you may have seen them around. Though some of their stories involve various supernatural things, in this comic you can assume Ilon, April, Ari, and Evriela (left to right in the first panel of the second page) are just regular people.

I had fun combining digital art with inkbrushing again, haven't done much of that in a long time. There will be more of that for the rest of the comic, too, though it may not always be very obvious. Also some moving outside my comfort zone by drawing cars of all things.

I'll post all the pages to my site's dinoart section here, and each page separately to my deviantart gallery here. It's getting its own gallery folder at DA, not sure where I'd sort the pages otherwise. I'm also posting the pages to my Patreon some days ahead of posting the pages publicly, along with WIPs of future pages.

Updates will be about once a week, with 1-2 pages at a time.

Content warning in advance for canon-typical violence, including visible blood. Not on the first pages, but we'll get there.
