Long time no raptorsim. But I did recently finish drawing pictures that I quite like of all the Indigo kids, so to celebrate that, a few new screenshots of Pleasantview's least official residents.

Starlight would like to file a complaint about this being the first thing she sees in the morning.

Anyway, I made my Skye sim a new shirt, and thought I'd share.

For both AF and TF, androgynous and not. It's a recolor/retexture of loose T-shirt by Gothplague, with the help of the logo-less white recolor made by CrabOfDoom.

Bedtime Story Redux

Indo tells Skye and Blue an interesting story from his time behind bars. We'll hope that in this version of events he at least didn't eat anyone.

A few more raptorsim screenshots (only a few, so not a long post this time). Previous posts can be found in the tag I've now made for them.

The raptorlets have found a new part of the house to utilize, or in other words, a new forbidden balcony: the roof directly above the allowed balcony. Can't be very forbidden since there's a ladder leading up there, but maybe it was put there for maintenance and then just never removed.

Perfect for all sorts of safe activities like pillowfights not far from the edge.

Fairy-winged tops for child sims

I made a texture edit with 8 variations of Sushigal007's top-only version of the basegame child fairy costume. Dainty sleeveless tops with wings on the back, suited for a costume party but also for a more everyday look.

Among the sims showing up to welcome them to the neighborhood were of course their closest neighbors, and also a human who was rudely ignored. Blue and Indo spent much of their visit being gross and engaging in gratuitous PDA.

Flower puzzle

I completely retextured a flower hair accessory without a template (original texture file is a floodfill color) using a laptop that doesn't let me use the camera angle changing keys in Bodyshop, basically guessing through trial and error without being able to zoom which part of the texture affects which part of the item. Whether that's bragging or self-deprecation probably just depends on whether it looks in game the way I wanted it to.

Have some swimtrunks

A little more Sims 2 custom content I've made. Six swimwear recolors for AM.

They come in two sizes: the default Maxis bodyshape, and Consort's heavy. The former doesn't need a mesh, as it's a basegame recolor. Mesh for the latter is not included, but can be found at the MTS link.

Browsing TS2 cc I came across the matching shirt sets Dig Up His/Her Bones by MissTiikeri (which can be found here, and preview pictures can be found here), and the AF set included these two fun shirts with grabby monster hands. However, in the AM set they're replaced with recolors of two of the other shirts, and that hardly seems fair, so I made matches of the two AF ones for sims assigned M at CAS, too.

I've been playing The Sims 2 since 2004, and only now it occurred to me I could put custom paintings in the game for the sims to paint.

The experiment is a success.

Lot showing-off

I call this house "Weather, nosy neighbours, and burglars that know how to climb over a fence don't exist". Probably physics don't exist, either; some of the upstairs doesn't look very soundly supported, if such things were acknowledged by this game.

(I don't have the Seasons EP installed, so weather - other than not-too-hot, clear-skies summer - indeed does not exist.)

Just add sauna

Managed to make a functional swimmable lake! Will probably still dress it up a bit with more plants and such should I have residents on this lot other than my brave tester sim, but it works.
