SE29 fledges, SE30 branches

Screenshots from Sydney White-bellied Sea Eagle nestcam. The older of the two eaglets has left the nest, come back, and left again, and the younger has discovered branch-climbing.

From four days ago, picking up from when SE29 first branched. SE29 moves farther up the branch to beg Dad for more food.

SE29 discovers a new branch. SE30 follows along but still stays in the nest.

Good job, another new branch discovered.

This morning, SE30 takes some steps up the "starter branch". Good job, you too!

And SE29 continues to explore farther and farther from the nest.

Both at the nest again. SE29 on the left. He bobs his head around and aims...

And takes flight!

Panning the camera finds him near, below the nest on a branch.

A successful return!

Just SE30. Last I checked, SE29 hasn't come back yet a second time. Stay safe out there!
