Baby Booted Eagles

A pretty big collection of screenshots I've taken from the livestream of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park Booted Eagle nestcam over the past month. This year's two chicks, Lasai (hatched June 7th) and Lucky (hatched June 9th), being cute and getting along. Warning that a few screenshots show half-eaten prey pretty clearly.

Mom looks so worried. That's just her face, though. Birds don't have the facial muscles for much change of expression.

The eaglets are like fluffy snowballs. A little over two weeks old here.

The dark surface of the table and her dark fur get very warm.

In the shade rather than in the sun, but she also likes to hang out at the balcony. She's not as big of a fan of having her nap interrupted by a photographing human.

Made using various pretty papers, glue, two sparkly heart stickers, and polymer clay for the pole.

It suits Skye quite well, doesn't it! It fits in her hand braced on one of her fingertips so she can actually hold it.

A question surely asked at every good introductions conversation, along with favorite dinosaur (mine's the Troodon/Stenonychosaurus/Latenivenatrix tangle). For each movie from the original trilogy separately, these are my picks. Not ranking them against each other or anything, but here are some thoughts on their merits to me.
