Recent eaglefamily portraits

SWFL eagles perching together and being very pretty.
Mom Harriet with her big babies. (Bonus rainbow lensflare.)
E15 and E16, Harriet still there in the background.
The kids exploring the different branches by themselves. Fledgling E15 has been taking flight trips around the pasture, too, but still hangs out at the nest tree to spend time with little sibling and enjoy food deliveries.

All four present. Dad M15 at the branch on the left, Harriet spreading her wings at the higher branch on the right. At the nest, E15 (left) is eating a fish that M just brought, E16 is looking up at mom. And squeeing. One thing that helps at telling the eaglets apart is that E16 has a lot to say.

Harriet was away from the nest for a few days, and this is the first time she's been home since... I think the morning shown above. M has been taking good care of the eaglets in the meantime, and continues to do so. As I've understood, it's pretty common for the female to start taking breaks from the more hands-on parenting when the eaglets are this grown. It sure is good to see them all safe and sound at the nest tree, though.
Harriet (on the right) moves to perch next to M.
E15 plays with the camera strap, E16 watches from the nest.
 E16 at the veranda branch.
 Harriet framed by sunset.
M at the tree known as OCT, or old cam tree, that camera 2 used to be on. Both parents stayed at the pasture with their eaglets as night fell, Harriet at the nest tree and M at this one. E15 and E16 also found branches to sleep on, though it looks like at some point during the night E16 relocated to the nest.
