More silly screenshots of my weird raptor sims, featuring more of Tumult's family. Long and picture-heavy post.
Among the sims showing up to welcome them to the neighborhood were of course
their closest neighbors, and also a human who was rudely ignored. Blue and Indo spent
much of their visit being gross and engaging in
gratuitous PDA.
Meripihka approves.
Ruckus spots a fellow gamer.
Not very courageous of you to use a sockpuppet account for expressing your
unpopular movie opinions.
Blue likes Meripihka a lot. Daydreamer would prefer for them to like each other
a bit farther away from the dart board.
Serene and Indo quickly hit it off, too.
Also whatever this is.
After a long and rather chaotic day, the resident raptors went to bed after having burned several dinners and made
new friends.
Except, what's this... someone's still in the hot spring I also put on the lot?
You guys don't even live here!
They finally went home at like 5 AM or something.
Good job being baby, Soft steps.
Daydreamer makes a scientific inquiry at breakfast, about whether kissies are
like fishies.
Not sure why the Nublar raptors' house came out looking like a log cabin or what the
backstory for their living here would be. I kind of just intended for them to
visit the other lot so I wouldn't spend much time playing on this one, but
they're fun. Outside The Sims, the pack's original nest was in a ring of trees,
so maybe their having a very wooden house is fitting. I haven't made Ruckus'
parents at least for now, so she's Meripihka and Serene's kid, but I can
probably change her parentage to her actual parents with cheats later
if I feel like making them, too.
Ruckus has only ever seen horses in a video game, where I assume they frequently
glitch and defy gravity. Soft steps meanwhile creates a dramatic scene of her
doll meeting its clone.
I invited all the Indoraptorlets over so they can also make new friends. But
because using the phone for that is a hassle and a half and you can't invite sims your
resident sims have never met, I just used some of those cheats and teleported them. They
live so close that surely they'd just wander here of their own accord sooner or
later, after all.
Cool bugs are an excellent topic for a first ever conversation, I agree. Also
very in character for Starlight and Daydreamer, who, if child sims could be
given specific aspirations, would both be knowledge sims.
"Elephants are really small, right?" "Idk, seems legit."
Ruckus and Dawn would not be knowledge sims.
After hanging out with Soft steps and Dusk for a while, Sunny already went home,
but she later called and asked to talk with Soft steps some more. Aww.
A wild Blue appears in the background.
She came to pick up her kids because it was getting late. Starlight had already
left on her own, too, but the boys were engaged in deep conversations and lost
track of time, it seems. Wonder who they get that from.
Back at Blue and Indo's house, some fun father-son bonding time. Dusk shows no
mercy.
Cannon ball!
Benefits of having your own couch, even a pretty beat up one, include having one
more thing to jump on.
And a thing to cuddle on with girlfriend.
Also since I figured out how to put custom paintings in the game, Skye painted one
of my lesbian raptor drawings for her wall.
When you can't answer the phone because your daughters are having a playfight
right under it.
Indulging in some not at all hypocritical gossip.
Person delivering a pizza to what turns out to be a bunch of dinosaurs: "This
isn't even the weirdest thing I've seen at this job, and I don't want to know."
"Well, maybe I want to know a little."
You could probably do that someplace else.
Dawn and Starlight's views on the topic under discussion are on two different
planes of realism.
Sunny has figured out what her name means!
Dusk makes friends with Daydreamer, and demonstrates how well those wings are
suited for happy flapping.
Dawn and Daydreamer also have fun, perhaps laughing at the irony of how much they like salad despite their supposed carnivory. Or maybe the picture on Daydreamer's
shirt looks familiar to Dawn, I certainly picked it because it kind of looks like the JW raptor hybrids.
Bird school.
I doubt Starlight knows much about elephants, either. Maybe she'll at least look
it up later.
Now that they're friends, sims just walk over to each other's houses uninvited
and let themselves in, apparently. I mean, why not, saves me the trouble. Blue
showed up at the Nublars' one evening, pulled up a chair at the table, and
started eating their food without saying
anything to anyone, as you do. Tumult finally joined her for a conversation, and
they became best friends after chatting about shipping.
Tumult stayed up most of the night and went to bed when it was already light
outside, and the little kids had just gotten up. She barely got to close her
eyes when Ruckus (living up to her name) and Daydreamer came to her room, turned
her stereo on for action music I guess, and started a play fight. Lock your door
next time.
Soft steps is such a neat sim that she just started cleaning her neighbors' yard
of weeds. That's very sweet of you, but I actually like the garden less tidy. It
took me a lot of neglect to cultivate those weeds.
Sunny comes to my rescue and distracts her by challenging her to a game of tag.
And now they, too, are best friends. Dusk walks over to them, blowing bubbles, either in
celebration of this development or completely oblivious to his surroundings and
about to bump into them.
Later Sunny and Starlight show her a cool place at the other side of the lake pond and the small stream connected to it (which way it flows I'm not entirely sure, as it's actually terrain paint, but maybe the pond is a spring?).
Look how high Sunny dares to climb! How impressive! Also forbidden, as this old
pile of broken furniture that the raptors haven't had the time to clear away
after moving in can't be particularly safe and steady, but who's going to know.
What are raptors if not smart and sneaky.
Dawn is so nice to the brick toys Blue makes. You might spy a Skye jumping on
the couch in the background.
Afterwards Skye puts her expertise to good use to give Dusk bouncing lessons.
Maybe someday soon he'll dare to use the diving board, too, but it was not this
day.

Dawn and Sunny have gotten the hang of it, though, and went for an evening
swim.
What the raptors playing with their human dolls probably sounds like.
Serene and Meripihka were invited over, but spent most of their visit having
a pillow fight with each other out on the street.
Four raptors in a hot tub, some feet apart but they're all bi.
Despite being the oldest of five siblings, Skye still finds using the stairs at
the same time as someone else a foreign concept.
When your wife is so hot you need to think about her twice at the same time.
Blue, you don't need to booty call him, you two already live together.
Don't worry, you'll both get to dress up soon enough.
Blue has been wanting to throw a party for a while now, so I figured I should
let her. I started decorating the backyard with the plans to start the party in
the evening, but rescheduled so the little kids wouldn't leave immediately
because it's their bedtime.
Skye helps at cleaning the house.
Spouses were charmed with new party looks.
The fastest draw in the west was decided.
Amazing skills of cartwheeling and getting a brick to stand up were showcased.
High traffic at the bird bath.
Skye and Tumult stop by the treehouse to look at Skye's newest painting.
That's what they tell everyone, at least. It may have in fact been for a kiss.
Dusk and Soft steps both have wings now!
Meripihka and Serene found leftover breakfast and assumed that's the party
food. Sunny blows their minds by informing them there's cake being served
outside.
Yeah, instant best friends would be my reaction, too.
They're still about as graceful eaters as they were as their more
dinosaury selves.
There's food at several tables already, but like a good thiefling Daydreamer prefers to dig through
the fridge.
Weather talk can be very suspenseful.
Seems Dusk needed a bunch of cheerleaders to inspire him to finally give
diving a try. Yay, you did it!
The music can be heard loud and clear indoors, too.
Dawn starts clearing away the dishes before the party's over. Sure, if that's
how you have fun.
Did Sunny even have an outfit picked out for the party? Who knows. Or maybe
swimtrunks was the outfit.
Tumult and Skye eat all the rest of the cake, and discuss the state of the
world, while everybody else is outside dancing.
Thank you for reading. As linked at the beginning of the post, the previous post about these sims is here. And here is a credits/WCIF post for all their CC.
