Loafings and hints of flight plans

Screenshots from the past week and a half at Sydney White-bellied Sea Eagle nestcam. Includes a few views of prey.

Eaglets SE30 (front) and SE29. SE29 is 7 weeks old, SE30 a day short of that.

Tracking something together. SE30 left, SE29 right.
Now the other way around.
Feeding the next day. SE30 higher on screen. SE29 is now 8 weeks old.

Whole family at the nest for a moment.
Watching and learning to defeather bird prey.
Closeups from yesterday. SE29, SE30. Both are 8 weeks old.
Seeing something interesting up there, SE29?
And today. SE29 is self-feeding from a fish.
SE30 wing workout.
The eaglets are getting closer to fledging, though it'll probably still be a couple of weeks. White-bellied sea eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) chicks have been observed to usually fledge at 70-80 days old. SE29 is 61 days old today.

SE30 is also starting to look pretty clearly bigger than her older sibling, at least to me, so I'm going with the assumption that SE30 is indeed female and SE29 male, as female eagles are bigger than males. When their size difference is this way around it's probably not due to age difference, and anyway the eaglets should be reaching their full size now.
