Supper last night at nest #1. E2, E1 l-r.

Taika retreats to the edge of the nest. Osplet instinct says another's beak near your face when it's not feeding time is a sibling challenging you, and must be shown who's boss. T2 doesn't have siblings to squabble with, so pecking at mom it is.

Taika lets the little one to calm down for a moment, before returning to brood.

At nest #4, the post-banding feast continues. Nemo with a fish, chicks very interested in fish. Nuppu has her own.

Nuppu moves closer to N1 and N3, and starts feeding, meanwhile Nemo feeds N2.

A bite for N3. N1 hasn't decided yet which feeding to attend.

Don't mind me, carry on.

Most of Nuppu's fish went to N1.

But N3 got some, too, and didn't exactly have to go hungry that day.

N1, N3, Nuppu, N2 is lying down behind N1. Surprised you can still sit up with a crop that size, N3.
