Raptors of east and west, of scale and feather

I don't see JW toys in stores here much if at all anymore, so I was surprised to spot this raptor. I don't have one with this sculpt yet, so it came home with me.

The packaging is Camp Cretaceous-themed, but I don't know whether the raptor itself is relevant to the show. I'm not complaining about getting some pretty box art without having to look at Owen's face on it, though.

Grass blankets, neighbors, and beakies

Screenshots from SWFL Bald eagle nest. No feedings shown, but the eaglets have been getting food. There are a few prey leftovers in the nest, but nothing too graphic.

Dad M15 brings a lot of dry grass to the nest and spreads it around. E20 (left) and E19 try not to get lost in it.

Ah, there you two are. A bit cozier now?

Sleepy fluffy eaglets

Cute screenshots of the almost-two-week-old SWFL eaglets from the past couple of days. Warning for views of prey, though. It is a raptor nest.

First lined up for a feeding, younger eaglet E20 higher on screen, E19 lower. Both have been eating well, and sibling rivalry has been low.

Then it's time for many sleepy cuddles. E20 left, E19 right.

Peeks at peeps

SWFL eaglets E20 (back/higher on screen) and E19 at morning feeding. E19 turns a week old tomorrow (or later today, as I'm posting this past midnight).

Eat, bonk, sleep

And E19 getting fed, with E20 showing submission after a bonk from E19. Sibling rivalry is prominent in this developmental stage, but both are getting plenty to eat.
