SE27 trying out a branch of the nest tree. Just a couple of steps, but I do believe that counts as at least the beginnings of branching!
The eaglets are starting to consider leaving the nest, and climbing is a gateway to flying.
Lost of flying practice, too, this morning (or tomorrow morning. timezones). SE27 wingercising.
And some more.
SE28 joins in behind her and both eaglets flap their wings.
SE28 at the front now, wingercising and balancing while grabbing a stick.
SE27 flaps across the nest.
SE28 moves to the opposite side of the nest, and jumps really high...
...lands on SE27's head for a moment...
...then eagle-parkours onto a branch!
Look at you immediately outdoing your older sibling and branching even more clearly! :D
SE28 flaps to stay on the branch for a while.
Then jumps off to the other side of the nest. Good job!
SE27 takes a couple more steps up her branch. Good job, you too!
