Both eaglets sunning themselves. SE28 at the front. SE27 managed to stretch her wing around a branch.SE28, SE27, getting swooped at by the Pied currawongs again.
Both eating their own suppers.
SE27 paying another visit to her branch, going even farther from the nest. She got there by walking, did some wingers, then perched for a while seeming to consider what to do next. SE28 meanwhile continued eating what's left of a fish.SE27 returning to the nest with a fly-leap.
And then a round of good old tug-o-prey and back and forth stealing, until the fish remains remained no more.
Loafing closeups. SE27 first on the left, then on the right.
A currawong lands in the nest tree, and SE27 tells it off.
Staying low to avoid the swoops. SE28 at front.
SE28 on a branch first thing in the morning.
