At nest #1, both chicks are now well into leaving behind their hatchling plumage. E1 (right) is two weeks old today.
Some closer looks. Still pretty easy to tell them apart. Both have a dark face, but E2's eye stripe hasn't properly grown in yet.
At nest #3, T2 is still pretty pinkish. Big crop on the little one after supper.
Still some left in there before breakfast, too.
Some loose fluff at the side of the head. Natal down shares its feather follicles with eventual pennaceous feathers, so it falls off as the thermal down that will be left under the pennaceous feathers grows in.
Alone for a moment, but it sounds like Taika is perched on the camera. T2's face has gotten a little darker overnight.

Nuppu's big babies at nest #4 last night. N1 sitting at the front, N3 preening on the right.
After a feeding, N3 has moved to the spotlight, N1 left and N2 right closer to mom.

Nemo has brought a fish, and it seems he was followed by some would-be fish thieves. Nuppu and the chicks looking around before settling down for a feeding, with Nuppu occasionally telling off the intruder. N3, N2 front, N1 back.

This morning, more fish thieves to yell at. Nuppu left, Nemo right. N1, N3, N2 l-r.

N1 (with a fashionable fish scale beak decoration) is done, the younger siblings get the rest.
N3 is done, too. The youngest has been holding its own really well, and it sometimes is N2 instead that eats last. But all three are eating.
