One more osplet small

Two days ago at nest #1, Eve feeding E1 while E2 finishes scooching out of its egg.

E2 was too tired to try eating before bedtime, but breakfast the next morning has two little beaks to feed.

A feeding from today: E2 gets first bites by facing the right way. :)

Eventually E1 joins in, too.

At nest #3, Taika and T2 continue figuring out their aim to get fish from one beak to another.

Success.

T2 alone for a while this morning.

And another feeding. The last egg has a noticeable pip, so T3 is on its way!

At nest #4, Nuppu brings a big lump of lichen for extra cushioning, and probably camoflaging.

A feeding, N3 getting a bite at the moment.

Not sure if the chicks like their lichen blanket, but the birds know best how to bird. N3 is between older siblings here with its head down.

The whole family is home for a moment, before Nemo is off again to do more fishing. N2 getting a bite, N1 closer to camera, and N3 is at the feeding but obscured behind N1.

The chicks figure out their lineup again. 2, 3, and 1 l-r. A short pause as they watch dad fly away.

Ooh, looks like the fish has recently eaten another fish! Two fish for the effort of catching one!

After Nuppu comes back, he rests at the nest for a bit longer, and hops on her back before leaving. Not exactly a mating, but a bonding moment all the same. A kiss for good fishing luck, lol.
