WE3, WE1, WE2 from left/front to right/back. Just lying around waiting for fish deliveries. WE1 is six weeks old on this day, WE2 two days younger, and WE3 two days younger than that.

Spared no Ranger Teams

Fixing that souvenir store can probably wait until after the storm, you don't have to be this dedicated!

Varying catches of the day

More screenshots from the West End Bald eagle nestcam I've been following. Above are five-week-old chicks WE1, WE2, and WE3 today, in order of oldest to youngest left to right, looking around after a meal. Or, WE1 and WE3 are looking around, WE2 is taking a nap sitting up. But back to yesterday before more of today. Screenshots show prey, but not close up.

Housing a Spino

Oh, the indignity.

I love that she catches the fishes in the fish feeder by holding her jaws in the water and snapping when a fish swims between them.

But what could go wrong?

Nothing much did immediately. The twister broke her fence and she escaped, but I'd put her enclosure far away from where I'd built stuff so far, so no people were in danger. She did kill one of the Stegos I hadn't captured yet before I caught her, though. Sad for the Stego, but hunting and being hunted is how the dinos had been living on the island before we showed up again, so it's business as usual for them and still not a disaster. But, it also made them one short in their minimum social group and thus very upset. I captured the Stegos and topped up their group with one from the Stegos I already had, which could afford to lose a herdmate, but it took a while to get them to calm down and time everyone's transport so there were enough Stegos in the enclosure at the same time and they stopped trying to break out. They did break out once, and ran into the built area, and so it was the herbivores who got to finally rampage among the tourists. :D Somehow no one got trampled.

This seems safe.

Land of eternal darkness

Welcome to Isla Pena.

Apart from the scary start of the first storm that hit involving this twister, though, I think I like this island. I'm sure how I've used up the building space could be improved on, but having too much space can also be kind of overwhelming, so I enjoyed this challenge.

I also only have herbivores on this island, so these contracts are free money. Not that I've had any of my veggiesaurs break out of their enclosures, either. I was promised running and screaming?

Glad the dinos are happy, though.
