More screenshots of my JWE moviepark park.
The paddock to the left of the monorail station houses
Ankylosaurus. Officially they're part of the gyrosphere valley's fauna, but in the movie they're clearly not, probably because their tail clubs can crack the gyrospheres. The tour guide voice heard inside the gyrospheres in the game will claim they can't. Tour guide voice is lying to you.
The middle paddock is for the
Velociraptors, but more on those later. To the left of them are
Dilophosaurus, which I assume were kept in the restricted area since they're not an exhibit, but must have been on the island at the time of the park's closing.
They're cute. And get solid fences because they'll spit on people through them otherwise like some scaly, hissy llamas.
This paddock on the other side of the raptors is, of course, for the Indominus rex. This is how many trees they wanted there! If the dinos' habitat requirements are at all canon, no wonder the individual in the movie didn't like her paddock. Seems so counterintuitive for an animal that has so many adaptations for hiding, but then again, evolution to perfectly fit a niche in nature isn't what made this creature.

Yes, you are very hidden, no one can see you now that you're green.
Well done, sweetie.
Also, yes, there are two!
I figured since I've already made a couple of solo
I. rexes in campaign, I might as well change it up now. They have the group modification gene, though population requirements are turned off, so they may not have needed it anyway. I guess this is an AU where the sibling survived, and the two of them get along great.
I named them Kay and Abby.
No biting the viewing gallery! Bad for your teeth.
Up to something? Wouldn't you like to know.
Between the raptor and
I. rex paddocks is a bit of fence, with a gate, and the road continuing behind it... Not many of the people working at the park have security clearance to go there, wonder where the road leads.
Well, I have climbed over the fence, and I don't see any security cameras around. I'll just take a quick look.
Hmm, not sure what this is for, we don't have another laboratory included on our staff maps at this location. The paddock is on it, though - it's one of several for in case a dinosaur needs to be temporarily isolated for behavior or medical reasons; there's an area like that in the raptor paddock, too, that can be closed off from the rest in case they start fighting again or something. Just standard precaution, it's marked as being currently empty. A waste of electricity to keep the fence on, though, in that case. Well, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
Instead, can I interest you in that we have a T. rex!
Oh, how fun to be a little goat, running around with your buddies with no threats in sight. :)
Aww!
When birdwatching goes both ways.
Some more aesthetic photos for the souvenir postcards. :D
All the dinos look so pretty in this lighting.
And more spinosaurid interaction. They do look kind of funny next to each other, though. The
Baryonyx are named Ally (gator) and Crocus in reference to how crocodilic they look, being based on the FK movie design, but
Suchomimus is supposed to be the "crocodile mimic" one.
Not having made a movie appearance (at least as far as I know, still haven't watched Dominion), I feel like the Suchos' design is more based on what the animal is currently thought to have looked like, since it doesn't have to conform to an existing retrosaur design and the game devs had more creative liberty with these non-movie dinos. How narrow their snouts are compared to the Barys' for example is a huge difference, when in real life they both had very narrow snouts.

But back to the restricted area (pretend the tourists walking on the paths here are staff out of uniform, lol). The Velociraptor
paddock is a little bare bones, and maybe I'll make it more
movie-accurate with mods later, but it should be secure, so let's have
the girls move in already.
Screm!
They
have a feeder at where they would be fed, and the paddock has that
adjacent more forested area where they can run around a little more
hidden from view, which also has water in there for them. They have
access to that all the time, the aforementioned part of the paddock that
can be closed off is at the back of that area.
