And the rest of the birds, too, but quite a few of the nestcam screenshots I have right now seem to be of a birb looking directly in the camera('s direction). (Headless fish warning for the Osprey nest screenshots.)
Starting with this little Kestrel who paid a visit to the unoccupied nest #2 at Satakunta Osprey cam.
And less-little osplets at nest #1. Left to right: A1, A3, A2, mom Alma. The chicks are watching dad flying away after he delivered a fish to the nest.
Okay never mind dad, time to eat.
At nest #3, mom Nuppu and tiny N2, both preening themselves.
Still tiny compared to the three at nest #1, but they are only a week and a half older than N2 (A3 is exactly a week older). It's hard to compare N2's growth with no siblings. I think they're already at least twice their hatching size?
And a feeding today. Already grown from that previous screenshot, too! The back of the head is starting to get dark.

Cornell Redtails. Here's hawklets K-1 (front) and K-2 this morning. I feel like I owe K-2 an apology for making fun of their apparent facial expression the other day without having paid closer attention to the situation, knowing now that the strange look is due to swelling from an injury. As can be seen here, the right side of K-2's face is puffier than the left.
The latest update on K-2's condition is here. The chick has been eating well today, and if help is needed, qualified professionals are keeping an eye on when to provide it. Let's hope for the best.
