Misty morning Myys

 

Wing practice and fish-waiting with the pretty backdrop of morning mist at the swamp, at Satakunta Ospreys nest #3.

Looking around and guarding the nest like a big bird, then hopping and flapping to the other side of the nest to do more of the same.

Mom Nuppu gets down from the camera, where she has been guarding the nest like an actual big bird. She has spotted something.

What could they be waiting for with such anticipation, I wonder...

Fish! Oh, and also hi, Ahti.

Nuppu mantles the fish for herself so she gets to eat, too. She still gives like every other piece to Myy, though.

Myy standing with one foot tucked into her bellyfeathers for warmth. It'll be a hot day but the morning was a bit chilly.

Nuppu continued to eat for a while after Myy stopped begging, but she left the fish tail for Myy to pick up and eat by herself.
