Beak touches and wing workout

 

A moment of preening at nest #3 of Satakunta Ospreys. N2 watches mom Nuppu do maintenance on her own plumage, then follows her example.

Earlier the same day, a very tired Nuppu guarding her chick.

Dozing off for a bit.

N2 curiously touches her beak with their own.

Flapping practice the following day. Wings are getting stronger and the chick is standing, but balance needs work.

Good thing nobody saw that.
