The Sydney White-bellied Sea-eagle cam regular live stream came back on around noon local time today. The chicks seem to be doing well and are eating well. Younger eaglet SE28 on the left and older eaglet SE27 on the right in above screenshots.
Post includes views of prey (fish and other), and some mild sibling rivalry.
A breakfast I also caught on Twitch. SE28 currently being fed, SE27 peeking from the nest bowl on the left and has already eaten.
SE28 sleeping on the left, SE27 stretching a wing and showing off a bit of pin feather development.
Dad (on the branch on the left) arrives with fish, which Lady snacks on while the eaglets figure out they need to actually go to the food to eat. SE27 (right) seems interested. SE28 signals submission with a bowed down pose, and lets the older sibling eat first. No beak bonks.
SE27 eats, SE28 waits.
SE27 is done for now. SE28 realizes it's their turn...
...and rushes to the table! SE27 didn't seem too fussed about almost getting run over.
SE28 begins eating and SE27 gets comfy.
SE28 moves a bit further away when SE27 turns towards the feeding. No aggression, but it's best to be out of the way.
A bit of an awkward angle for both eater and feeder, but they manage.
SE28 tries not to fall over backwards when swallowing. SE27 is lying down, you can probably turn around now.
SE27 calmly takes a few more bites between SE28's, especially while the younger sibling takes a moment to regain balance.
Some posturing after the meal. SE28 makes a lunge at SE27. Yes, that way around.
SE27 just gets up, and SE28 goes into submissive position to end the fight before it's started. SE27 is clearly at the top of the pecking order, but when food is not an issue SE28 seems to have no problems letting the sibling know when they did something SE28 didn't like. The rivalry seems to be mostly warnings on both sides right now, instead of actually connecting hits.
SE27 front, SE28 back. The little one has a pretty good-sized crop already.
Dad brings a new prey item, and SE28 rushes over to get fed, to no objections from SE27.
Lady arrives with yet another prey (the bird the feathers on the nest are from, she was finishing the defeathering and eating some of it elsewhere while Dad fed SE28). SE27 rests their crop, SE28's grows, too.
Waddling back to the nest bowl, looking like they've swallowed a bowling ball.

Time for bed, those crops should make good pillows. Really good to see the weather has cleared up and food is abundant again.
