Screenshots from the SWFL Bald eagle nest (and West End nest later in the post). These are from two days ago, and mostly feature the younger eaglet E20, but the most recent news is that his older sister E19 has fledged! I don't have pictures, as the cameras were down at the time, and still are at the moment, but here's video of the fledge filmed on location by Marie Lapointe-Chism and posted to Youtube by Lady Hawk with her permission. E19 has since safely returned to the nest.

Tandem feeding. It looks to me like Thunder has WE3 and WE1, and Akecheta WE2, though I'm not entirely sure which of the older two eaglets is which.

The weather is warm so they don't need much brooding, but dad guards them and provides shade when it gets too warm.
Thunder's turn to feed. All three have been eating well, and sibling rivalry is very mild. So far the chicks seem mostly content to wait in peace for everyone to get their share.

Thunder returns, and will brood the chicks overnight. Both parents give them supper first. Or, mom tries to participate, but the chicks are mostly turned towards dad. It's okay, he's got this. Akecheta has been doing a really good job parenting his first chicks ever, and it's a joy to see.
