Peaceful eating turns

Also went very peacefully. N1 (back/left) ate the most at first, but N2 got some bites, too, and N1 seemed to have no problem with that. N2 also didn't seem all that wary of N1's beak.

And when N1 was full and ready to return to napping, N2 again got the rest.

Are the chicks going to be fighting less now, at least until self-feeding starts? We'll see. Sibling rivalry seems to be the most intense in raptor chicks' earliest weeks, when their tiny crops can't store much food and they get hungry very quickly. Either way, so long as there's enough food for both, both get to eat, whether at the same time or with a stricter pecking order. N1 turned three weeks old yesterday, while N2 is two and a half, and both are growing well.
