Nuppu feeding N2/USU at nest #4 yesterday. N2 has since left the nest - not the way we hoped for, but there could have been worse ways, too. N2 was perched on a branch next to the nest last night, when he suddenly stumbled and fell. He survived the fall, and didn't seem significantly more injured when he was located on the ground this morning, but as he can't fly and would not have made it back to the nest on his own, he was retrieved and is currently in human care.

Some wingers. The left wing that's already been injured for a while did seem to have improved, but it couldn't get him off the ground yet.
He found this spot to sit in, maybe a bit drier than the surrounding swamp.
Nuppu came to the nest and exchanged vocalizations with him. She was present during the rescue, so she knows something took her chick. Sadly she won't understand that it was to help him, but at least she won't look for him in vain.
The stream was cut off during the rescue, but I hear he was well enough to eat something before traveling. How things will continue for N2 now, we'll find out later. He is in capable hands.

Also screenshots from nest #1. Eve, Lumme, and Utu yesterday. Eve has a fish she is eating, the chicks are well-fed enough to not care.
This morning, Lumme has a fish. Utu seems interested, but she gets to keep it.
Later, Utu with a fish, which he figures out how to grasp in his talons to take it off the nest to eat elsewhere. Good job! Utu is 8 weeks old today.
